West Texas AHEC of the Plains is dedicated to supporting our surrounding counties. We are here to help ensure that we will have health care professionals in our area in the years to come. We enjoy working in conjunction with our communities along with building new lasting partnerships to better serve the West Texas area.
Our Story
AHEC of the Plains is part of the West Texas AHEC located in Lubbock TX. Our center opened its doors in 2002 and has been doing its best to serve the 24 counties ever since. Our focus is building up a quality rural healthcare workforce to support our rural West Texas communities.
